4 CYLINDER FWD - RWD RULES

1. Any NON turbo engine, FWD or RWD 4 cylinder car. FWD or RWD cars are permitted to race. No Trucks..NO TUBE CHASSIS CARS!!!
2. 2 or 4 doors cars allowed, doors must be welded or bolted shut.
3. You must remove all flammable material except the front seat and dashboard.
4. Racing seat is recommended but not required.
5. Must have at least 4 point harness belts.
6. Car must be completely stock appearing no wedge noses / No Homade Roofs.
7. All cars must have stock body
8. All cars must have stock appearing front ends with tow hooks sticking out the front . No front end pipe bumpers as this causes people to use them as push bars while racing . They are not permitted!! The Front Bumpers must be covered by a front end bumper cover.
7. You must remove all glass, molding, plastics & chrome trim, Front windshield may stay.
8. Must have 4 point roll bar, .095 minimum wall thickness on tubing, welded to plates and bolted to floor and roof .
9. Must have at least 2 door bar in each side of car.
10. Must have 3 window bars in front on drivers side.
11. Roll bar must be padded in drivers area.
12. Cars must be painted and lettered neatly, number must be 18”min. and
  numbers must be on both doors.
13. Approved racing helmet is required.
14. A fire retardant suit is required.
15. OPEN TIRE RULE -- Any type Good Year, Hoosier, or American Racer measuring up to the 8" Racing Tire . DOT Tires are OK as long as they dont exceed 8" wide . 
16. Bead Lock wheels will be permitted on the right side of car.
17. All drivers MUST be 14 years of age or older.
18. welding or locking of the differentials will be permitted.
19. All Shocks and Springs must be mounted in Stock Location
20. WEIGHT RULE :: 2250 lbs. Driver and Car after the race . 

 The above rules are set to provide for the orderly conduct of all racing
programs at Midway Speedway. They are intended to be used as a guideline
and are in NO way a guarantee against injury or death to it's participants.
Anything not covered should be checked with officials before proceeding.
